Location. Location.

One block from the Atlantic and one mile from the Wall* The Surf House on Ashworth Ave., literally has it all, and what it doesn’t have, it’s in close proximity to. Across the street from the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, where for more than 100 years live music has met the Strip, and concert goers listened to everyone from Jimi Hendrix to Ziggy Marley.

Lots To Do Nearby.

While just steps away from the beach and all the action, The Surf House is tucked away just far enough to enjoy some serene sun bathing by the pool. When you’re ready to venture out, there’s certainly no lack of things to do! Start your day with a fresh bagel sandwich and an iced coffee from the Green Room and head over to Hampton Beach Scooter Rental to pick up a moped, MOKE, or bicycle for your travels (Surf House guests get 20% off!).

After a beach day, head over to Wally’s for lunch for one of their many great daily specials, like twin lobsters for $17.59 on Tuesdays or 10 cent wing Wednesdays. Wally’s has live concerts 7 nights a week, with 2 shows every day, so there’s never a dull moment!

For dinner (and some more live music) you can grab a world class burger at The Goat or head to Bernie’s Beach Bar for your classic fried seafood fare or a steak dinner and some cocktails.

After dark Bernie’s is the place to be on the seacoast. Boasting New Hampshire’s largest deck, you’ll find the area’s top party bands on any given night, as well as famous acts such as Lee Brice, Lil Jon, Aaron Lewis, Maddie and Tae and more.

  • Wow! We just got back home today from a 2-night stay. First, let me just say that I spent a few DAYS reading reviews of the 100+ places to stay in Hampton Beach. I narrowed it down to just a handful of places that I would follow-up with. Surf House was my first call and they had availability – which was terrific because we decided pretty last minute to take this brief trip. We had never been to Hampton area before. We DEFINITELY picked a gem of a place to stay. The whole experience was terrific from the moment we arrived. It was very easy to get to, large signage made it easy to spot, parking was reasonable for our full-size pickup truck, and the office staff was incredible! The pool was perfect for our toddler who was a little overwhelmed by the ocean. It was just a 1-block walk to the beach and shops/arcades/food places. It was quiet at night – in fact I heard little to no traffic once we settled in for the night. On our drive home we were already discussing our next trip and you bet we will plan to stay at Surf House again! Thank you for everything!!

  • Though I am writing this as we are currently still checked in, I can happily say that the Surf House is a beautiful hotel! The rooms are immaculate, the pool is amazing, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! They even came in and changed our trash, made the beds, and brought fresh towels all while we were at the pool. One of the best parts about this hotel is the proximity to everything. It is extremely close to the strip and the beach, but it is just far enough (about a 2 minute walk) from everything that you aren’t too disturbed at any point in the day. All in all, I cannot fully express how awesome this hotel is. The next time we come down to Hampton Beach, we will definitely be staying at the Surf House!

  • We stayed last weekend for the Island District release at Wally’s and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Conveniently located short walk to beach and night life. You need to check out the modern beach art in the stairways!! Only place I’ll book in Hampton.

  • Perfect spot to stay for a trip to Hampton Beach! The rooms are beautifully decorated and all of the amenities are brand new! The staff is super friendly and helpful as well. The hotel is just a quick walk to the beautiful beach and boardwalk with lots of great shops and bars/restaurants. The Surf House is definitely my new go to place to stay on the Seacoast

  • Welcome to the new cool cat in town!
Stumbled on this new (2022) spot when booking a last-minute trip to see a concert. A modern take on the motel, the color scheme is surf, blue and tan with tile accents everywhere. Gone is the dated concept- replaced by comfy beds with soft linens, sleek glass showers, a resort like pool, retro microwave, and action surfing shot images on the wall. Spotless, fun, snappy, fabulous! Can’t wait to return!!
